Sette buone idee per il dialogo interculturale in Europa
La dimensione interculturale appartiene in maniera costitutiva all’Europa.
È parte del suo DNA, del suo passato e presente, e – sempre di più – del suo
futuro. Da qui la necessità di interrogarsi sul tema del dialogo interculturale
in Europa, sulle sue ragioni, sulle sue pratiche e sulle politiche. Questo libro
scaturisce dal progetto “Stories of a Possibile Europe”, programma Europe for
Citizens. Sette gruppi di abitanti dell’Europa, di sei Paesi differenti,
si sono confrontati su problemi e pratiche legati al dialogo interculturale,
attraverso il racconto di esperienze sia legate alla vita quotidiana, che di
esperienze di chi opera in questo ambito a livello di ricerca e di lavoro sociale.
The intercultural dimension belongs to Europe right from its constitution.
It is part of its DNA, its past and present and – increasingly – its future. Hence,
the need to reflect on the theme of intercultural dialogue in Europe, the reasons for it,
its actual practice and the policies needed to bring it about. This book springs from
the “Stories of a Possible Europe Project” under the Europe for Citizens programme.
Seven groups of European inhabitants from seven different countries reflected on the
problems and practices linked to intercultural dialogue, by narrating experiences
relating both to their everyday life and to working in the field within the sphere of
research or social work.
